Statement of Faith

1. The Scriptures                                                                                                                  We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16,17; 2 Peter 1:20,21.

2. God                                                                                                                                 We believe there is one God eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19; I Peter 1:19,20; John 10:30.

3. The Deity of Jesus Christ                                                                                                 We believe in the Deity of Christ; His Virgin birth; John 1:1; 1 John 5:20; His Virgin Birth, Luke 1:26-35; His shed blood for forgiveness of sin; Matthew 26:28; His bodily resurrection; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; His personal premillenial return; 1 Thessalonians 4:10-18.

4. The Holy Spirit                                                                                                                 We believe the Holy Spirit came to convict the world of sin, of righteousness and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, teach, and comfort those who believe in Jesus Christ. John 16:8-11; Titus 3:5

5. The Fall of Man                                                                                                                We believe that all men are by nature sinful and lost and that for salvation, regeneration is absolutely essential. Romans 5:12, 3-9, 10; 3:23 and 3:10-12; Titus 3:5

6. Redemption From Sin                                                                                                      We believe that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Romans 5:6-11; Hebrew 9:22.

7. Salvation By Grace                                                                                                          We believe that faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ is the only condition of salvation from sin and this salvation is wholly by grace. Ephesians 2:8,9; 1 Peter 1:23

8. The Church                                                                                                                      We believe that a New Testament Church is an organized body of believers practicing Scriptural ordinances and actively engaged in fulfilling the Great Commission. Matthew 16:16-18; Ephesians 1:22-23.

9. The Resurrection                                                                                                             We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of life and the lost unto the resurrection of the damned. John 5:28,29; Matthew 25:46.

10. Eternal Security                                                                                                             We believe in eternal security of truly born again believers. 1 John 5:11-13; John 10:29-30; 1 Peter 1:3-5; John 3:3-8; Ephesians 1:13-14.
